PYRITE GEM STONE


Pyrite is formed by a natural phenomen in cubes or pyritohedra which have twelve five-sided faces. It is found in igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic rocks. It is also known as "Fools Gold". It is believed to have tricked the miners of old into thinking that it was gold.


Opaque, Metallic Brassy-Yellow, Greenish-Brownish-Black, Good Cut, Good Polish, Good Dome.
